Growing up in an arty family, Andrea was encouraged to be creative . Her Father was a graphic designer and her Mum is a printmaker. At 16yrs old Andrea left her school studies and went to art school. Andrea Spent 5 years in total at various art schools studying graphics, photography, textiles and finally surface design.
After completing her Surface design course in Hereford. Andrea then moved back to Cornwall, where she met Chris Insoll and got involved in The New Gallery.
Andrea has 2 dedicated studios for her work. Both are at her home in Portscatho, one primarily for her paintings and the other is for her beach combings and 3D work although there is often an overlap.
